Give Back Program

About

The Give Back Program  aims to provide help and financial assistance to underprivileged students so they could continue going to school. Currently, GBP is focused in the education sector by offering a scholarship program for students.

The scholars are encouraged to organize community service events as a way of showing gratitude. This includes tutoring other students, clean-up drives and other volunteer works where they can help others too.

Our Story

The Give Back Program started in August 2022 as an initiative to help students continue their education without worrying about the burden of not having enough finances to support their studies. The program was founded by Liezl Asis in Amsterdam by reaching out to some old high school friends who are working in Bulusan, Sorsogon, her hometown. She proposed the program as a way of giving back to the community.

Vision

To provide support to underprivileged students so they can continue pursuing their dreams.

Mission

The Give Back Program is a project that provides financial assistance to students who are in need. This opens opportunities to families who could not support their children to go to school because of monetary issues. The scholarship is granted to students who are active in both academic and non-academic activities in school. The students need to have inspiring and empowering stories that fuel them to have a successful future. They need to have clear goals and know the actions they need to take so they can be a step closer to their dreams.

The scholars are encouraged to participate in community service activities to help them appreciate the value of helping and supporting other people.

We want to build a lifestyle of people helping one another by giving back to the community.

Values

The program integrates the following values to produce extraordinary results. To be:

  • Grateful

  • Empowering

  • Supportive
